“Too expensive.” Some people tend to think that dealing with any professional is far from cost effective. Horror stories abound, usually in conversations over lunch about how so and so was overcharged by:
a) an accountant
b) a solicitor
c) an advertising agency/design consultant.
Alright, we admit it, we’ve probably even had a grumble or two ourselves (and you should see what those mailshots are costing….) But in all honesty, there’s a big difference between something that’s cheap and something that represents good value.
Having said that, we don’t expect you to take our word for it.
We would suggest though, that we get together and talk about it. We actually encourage our clients to “find their own level” with us. For some, that means we only see them two or three times a year. Others, we are in almost constant touch with. It all depends very much on what suits them, not us. One thing they all have in common is that they fully appreciate the potential cost of not seeing us at all.
